Our nearby Blue Flag beach & village of Llangrannog is just a mile and a half away, with several good places to eat, including two award winning eateries, The Pentre Pub (Gastro Pub 2023) Tafell a Tan wood fired pizzas (Pizza award 2023), fish & chips, and beachside cafe.
All our local beaches are different, so if you want a long stretch of sand head to Penbryn (and try some frangipane from the The Plwmp Tart while you're there)...
... a pebbly cove where you can see the seals and their pups in September? then Cwmtydu is where you need to find yourself.
Boat trips to go Dolphin Spotting? Newquay is your best bet!
Fancy a spot of shopping and fine dining?
Then Aberaeron and Cardigan are both within a 20 min drive and you can enjoy the stunning views of Cardigan Bay on your way.
Access to the Coastal path, is just down the road from the campsite (sadly we don't have direct access from our land) and if you want a lift at the start or end of your walk, the Cardi Bach Bus stops at the bottom of our drive.
There are plenty of events throughout the year in Cardigan & the surrounding areas. From Barley Saturday in April, River Food festival in August, Other Voices Music Festival in October. For the stage and cinema Theatre Mwldan has a year round programme of entertainment.
You'll be ideally located to venture further afield -
The University town of Aberystwyth, with it's promenade & the Furnicular Railway. Take the Rheidol Valley steam train to Devil's Bridge.
