Camp at Erwan

Ideally situated 10 mins off the main A487, on the outskirts of the village  and beach of Llangrannog, you will find us here at Camp at Erwan.   

We offer tranquility camping for adults only with hilltop views looking out to sea.  The site is a 2 acre, gently sloping field, surrounded by neighbouring farmland, where you'll see Red Kites flying over head as well as many other naturally habituating birds.

Wake up to sunrise over the Cambrian mountains and enjoy sunsets over the ocean with views of the Llyn Peninsula in the distance.

We have 5 generous grass pitches available for tents and 5 more grass pitches for small camper vans, up to 6m in length (sorry no motorhomes or caravans - you won't make it up our driveway!) so you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of being surrounded by nature and the elements. 

The pitches are approximately 12m in diameter, and separated by long grasses, to give everyone their own space to relax.    For tents, parking is allocated at the entrance to the field and there are carts available to help you transport your belongings to & from your pitch.  We don't charge extra for awnings and pup tents etc if it fits on your pitch that's fine.   

Fancy a little bit more luxury, then come and stay in our Stargazer Bell Tent.   

Tucked away in a cosy corner of the campsite, our 5m bell tent  with a clear roof will be available to book, where you can stay snuggled up inside while you gaze up at the skies.

Comes complete with bed, bed linen, cooking facilities, fire pit and its own private compost toilet.    

ONLY AVAILABLE BY BOOKING DIRECT either online or give us a call - booking dates from May 21st until early Sept. (minimum 3 night stay, max 2 adults, sorry no dogs).  

If you're walking the coastal path and need a stop for the night,  we have the Hikers Hub,  a dedicated space where you can pitch your one-man tent, meet up with fellow backpackers and cyclists, share notes and stories over a meal.  There is a covered seating area where you can take some time to recharge yourself, your batteries and take shelter if the weather's not as good as we'd like!

ONLY AVAILABLE BY BOOKING DIRECT either online or give us a call    - each person must book individually. This area is for one/two man tents only.

The facilities here at Camp at Erwan consist of composting toilets, and hot showers with plant based body + hair products provided.   There is an undercover wash-up/kitchen prep hut with seating should you get caught in a shower, and full recycling, as well as a freezer for ice packs. 

In the wash-up hut there is also a charging station for phones and other devices, and  we can offer EV charging at a reasonable rate (please ask us).

The Pantry - stocks a few essentials that you may have forgotten, or just need to make your campsite meal extra special. 

CDP - Please note we do NOT have facilities to dispose of chemical toilet waste.

We welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs per pitch (for a small fee), so your four legged companions can enjoy their holiday too, with walks along the coastal path and splashes in the sea.  Please just keep them on a lead whilst on the campsite, but they can have a free run in our allocated dog exercise field.   We do not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro)

Llangrannog village is one and a half miles away, with several places to eat for when you don't fancy cooking.

We are lucky that only a 10 minute stroll from the campsite is our neighbouring farm shop, "From the Farmgate", where you can buy their own organic-reared meat products, BBQ packs and breakfast selections, as well as locally produced dairy, fruit & veg and many more treats. 

We are pleased to be a member-only site with the Greener Camping Club,  when you sign up as a member it supports the campsites environmental projects, providing trees, hedges and wildflower seeds as well as bird and bat boxes.  Thus continuing to re-green the land and helping to off-set your carbon footprint. 

As we go into our fourth season, we continue the development of the site and our planting plan to provide more shelter for both mankind and nature.  It's a never ending task and there's always more ideas are brewing for the future, watch this space!.
